Te Papa and Wellington Harbor

There is an observation platform with a great view of the harbor:


In the upper photo and the one on the lower right, those mountain rages are actually the Wellington Fault, where two tectonic plates meet. The fault is about 12.5 miles deep in the earth’s crust. The info plaque tells me that this fault’s “last” big movement was about 400 years ago.
